what is a remote application?
An application is a program, like MYOB or Microsoft Word. A remote application is a program you use at your computer which is located on another computer or server. asp run your applications from a server at the aspcentre, and give you access wherever you have an internet connection.
what applications or programs can be hosted?
Most applications/programs can be hosted by asp but all programs that are installed into the aspcentre must be legally obtained and licensed software. asp fully test each application before installing in the aspcentre to ensure that it will operate effectively and have no adverse affects on the servers or other clients.

what happens if my internet drops out?
asp recommend that each client has their own redundant internet connection in the form of a mobile broadband (3G) connection – a USB system that costs around $20 per month. asp knows that your internet connection is important to your operation, however asp have no control over your internet service provider (ISP) and any breakdown in the system is usually at least 30 minutes away from being fixed. You may not be able to wait that 30 minutes for the system to return and it is for this case only that you may want to invest in your own 3G backup.
